context

Making plant-wide audit status operationally visible

Quality teams managed recurring machine audits through fragmented Excel reviews. Daily meetings required a reliable view of current OK/KO status, overdue actions and audit history.

problem

Replacing fragmented reviews and duplicate work

Duplicate audits consumed time, problematic machines were difficult to prioritize and weekly reporting depended on manual consolidation.

approach

One daily operating view across audits and actions

I built a Power BI application covering approximately 150 machines and automated recurring KPI reports with Power Automate. The model joined audit records, machine status, corrective actions and ownership into a daily operating view.

results

Higher participation and faster attention to findings

Audit participation increased by at least 50%. The system reduced duplicate work, accelerated attention on KO findings and remained in use after the internship. I later supported restoration of its weekly automation when an email dependency changed.

limitations

Reducing dependency on corporate credentials

The solution depended on corporate Microsoft infrastructure and access policies. A production redesign would use service-owned credentials, explicit data contracts and monitored refresh health.
